OVO Green Square is one of Sydney’s most recognisable residential towers, known for its curved architectural form and colourful glazed façade. The 28-level apartment building sits at the gateway of Green Square Town Centre and features a highly detailed curtain wall façade with approximately 1,800 glazed panels.

The GForce Abseiling team was engaged to complete a full external clean of the building’s inaccessible windows and glass balustrades. Due to the height, curved façade and limited access points across sections of the building, the work was completed using rope access methods, allowing the team to safely reach areas that could not be practically accessed by traditional means.

Over a 10-day period, a three-person rope access crew carried out the works across the building, systematically cleaning the external glazing and balustrade areas while working around the architectural shape of the tower.
