Anchor testing and installation for high-rise buildings in Sydney.

Anchor systems need to be inspected, tested, and installed properly to make sure they are safe, compliant, and fit for ongoing use. Over time, existing anchors can be affected by age, exposure, corrosion, movement, installation quality, and general wear, while new systems need to be designed and installed to suit the building, the access requirements, and the work being carried out. GForce provides anchor testing and installation across Sydney for commercial and strata properties that need safe, practical access to roof-mounted and difficult-to-reach systems. Using rope access and height safety expertise, we work on high-rise and multi-storey buildings where conventional access methods can be impractical or inefficient. This allows us to carry out anchor inspections, testing, and installations while planning each project around the roof layout, system type, access requirements, compliance needs, and the scope of works involved.

What anchor systems can GForce install and test?

GForce installs, tests, and recertifies a wide range of anchor and height safety systems used on high-rise and multi-storey buildings across Sydney. Depending on the roof layout, structure, access requirements, and the type of work being carried out, this can include single-point anchors for fall arrest, abseil and rope access anchors for suspended access work, horizontal static line systems for continuous movement across roof areas, and broader roof access safety setups used for ongoing maintenance access. We also inspect existing systems, check their condition and usability, and carry out annual recertification where required so building owners, strata managers, and facility teams can keep systems compliant and fit for use. In NSW, these systems are generally managed under WHS obligations, with SafeWork NSW guidance referencing AS/NZS 1891.4 and AS/NZS 5532. Standards Australia has since published updated 2025 editions, including AS/NZS 1891.4:2025 and AS 5532:2025.
